Jidex Foods Nig. Ltd was incorporated with the primary objective of closing the gap in high-quality, cleanly packaged ready-to-eat snacks in Nigeria. Prior to our entry, much of the snack industry operated in unstandardized, manual, and uncertified environments.
By building modern industrial plants equipped with state-of-the-art automated machinery, we established a benchmark for hygiene, taste uniformity, and long shelf-life. Our snacks are produced with zero manual contact on raw materials during sorting, baking, frying, and packaging.
Today, Jidex Foods stands proud as a Nigerian success story built on global manufacturing best practices. We contribute to local agriculture by sourcing 100% of our plantains, russet potatoes, and nuts from smallholder farmers across Nigeria, ensuring positive economic impact.
Timeline of Achievements
The Inception
Jidex Foods is founded in Lagos, starting with local production of traditional Chin Chin under NAFDAC authorization.
Automation Upgrade
Invested in our first automated dry-frying and packaging line, boosting capacity to 100,000 packs daily.
Ogun Factory & Logistics
Opened our Sagamu factory plant and launched our logistics trucks to deliver direct to major cities.
ISO Certification achieved
Achieved international ISO 22000 Food Safety certification, certifying our HEPA-pressurized packing lines.
Nationwide Snack Leadership
Expanding our retail presence to over 3,000 stores nationwide and sourcing from over 1,000 local farmers.
